What To Do in the Event of a Death?
If a death occurs outside of a medical facility and it unattandence death, immediately contact 911. if your under Hospice care, please call the Hospice Nurse on call. if the Death occurs out of state, please contact Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel to make all arrangements to get the Deceased ship back here to us.
Your next phone call should be to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel so we can take care of all of the formalities involved. The paperwork involved when a loved one dies can unfortunately be very confusing. Therefore, as your professional funeral director we will take care of obtaining and reporting all necessary paperwork including a death certificate and burial permits.
Unanticipated death at home or elsewhere In these situations, you should immediately contact 911; police and emergency medical personnel will then determine the appropriate steps to take. Generally, the authorities can release the remains directly to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, anywhere in the United States and in some parts of Canada and International. Call in a timely manner so that so that preparations may begin.
